We haven't tried building a translation package with the Anahita 3.0, give it a try and let me know please. I'm sorry I still haven't had a chance to look at your translation package. Been a very busy day. I'll do it tomorrow.

Aleks the mismatch tag is the authorUrl in the install.xml file. You can test your xml files using a xml validator such as this one: http://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_validator.asp

I did this for Spanish, and tried to install from >Extend>install but I get a message "could not find XML setup file'

I am sure the install.xml file is in the zip... should I try something else?
