Git vs SVN

Hello everyone,

We are trying to decide on using Git or SVN for our version control. I've always used SVN in the past.

Does anyone here use Git? Are there any ways to make it as convenient as using TortoiseSVN? TortoiseSVN integrates as a windows shell extension and it makes it very easy and quick to see the status of files and commit/update/checkout when necessary.
