I am considering jumping ship and use Anahita but need two additonal features. Has anyone built a group calendar? Also, is there a REST API available to deliver content to native mobile apps? #suggestions
Yes, group calendar is what I am looking for. Basically for group admins to share event postings that would be shared within that particular group. It would trigger reminder notifications within that group if they opted in.
Where is this implemented and documented? How would one create BREAD actions on custom resources? For example, if I create a new resource called jobs, what's the process to implement that as REST endpoints?
@james sorry for the late reply. Been quite busy with the next release's development and questions on the premium groups.

We dont' have such an app right now. We will have Anahita Events which will be groups specialized for hosting and promoting an event. The reason we haven't built such an app yet is because it hasn't been a high priority item yet. We often start with apps that we use ourselves to power Anahitapolis.com and that is how we gradually improve them. We didn't host any events last year. This year we will be developing the Anahita Events app and in fact we think it will be quite simple to do so using the Anahita 1.7 code base (2 releases from now)
If you have a specific workflow or app in mind, you have to build it yourself. We only provide the generic building blocks that most social networks may require and that alone saves you hundreds of hours of time. A lot of our premium members are developing custom apps that are unique to their business models and as they are building, they post their questions for us to answer.

We don't have extensive documentation for the Anahita Framework yet, because the technology is still new. The stable release was made available last January and the code has been constantly changing and evolving. That means any written documentation would have been outdated very quickly. So Anahita information is shared via premium groups. We answer questions as they are posted and post tutorials for the most commonly asked questions. We also provide private consulting to the premium Gold and Executive members who are building their projects using the Anahita framework.
