Hi,
I know some of these are on the roadmap. But if so, I hope it helps as user feedback for dev priorities.
* Blogs (my biggest feature request. keep wanting to goto k2, but am waiting for the first out of yourselves and Tuiyo. Thinking its going to be you ;)
* Groups (with unlimited nested categories. I want to have, USA > California > San Francisco > La Honda
* Groups module for listing group categories
* Integration with other comments systems. I use JComments. The reason for this is for consistency within the site, so all comments works the same.
* Adding Youtube clips to be able to be played to Story Updates / status
* Links in Story Updates / status to be linkable
* Like and Dislike
* Ability for users to turn of the tabs like Relationship and Personal if they like. #suggestions

What level of functionality do you have in mind for the blogs? Will you be happy with a simple post (similar to the discussions topics or even facebook notes) and comments on them? or would you rather something like wordpress or tumblr?
Eric Doriean
Features I would like to see in a first go:
- WYSIWYG editor. Standard features like add image, bullets points, etc...
- Comments (you've said comments are on the roadmap - in perfect world I'd use your comments system on joomla core articles as soon as I started using your blog)
- Module for admin selected featured blogs. With username and pic going to profile.
- Would want a way to share blog on social netowrk sites. Hopefully that would be in your comments tool which would make it easy to keep consistency between articles and blog posts.
Wouldn't want to get too greedy after that.
Thanks for your consideration... :)

"in perfect world I'd use your comments system on joomla core articles" - We need an Anahita extension that defines Anahita nodes for every Joomla article. From that point They can be incorporated with Anahita to some degree.
It would probably much faster and more efficient to build a CCK using the Anahita framework and Nooku.
"Module for admin selected featured blogs" - That shouldn't be difficult. A module that aggregates a collection of selected actor nodes and possibly their recent blog posts.
"to share blog on social netowrk sites" - You will be able to do that with Anahita Social ™ Connect. Currently it integrates with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google
"Wouldn't want to get too greedy" - you are not. What you are asking is pretty reasonable actually. I am adding many-to-many assignment of blogs posts to categories, revisions, and also tagging in the future to the list myself.

If I find some free time, I might build the blog as another fun weekend project, because It is really not that difficult to build. Other than that we really have to schedule it in the right priority order.

"Gantry Framework powered Anahita template"...Whats that? :D
Are you going to develope a new Template for Anahita?
Or are you going to make Gantry = Anahita-Ready?
I have not try it out yet but I hope it works with T3-Framework, too.
I have developed a theme with that. I will try it out if Anahita-Beta is released.
And are projects/subscriptions = extensions, which you will sell or is it only for you for Anahitapolis.com?
Rastin Mehr
Rastin Mehr
Yes it will be available as one of the social apps distributed via Anahitapolis.com
Anahita Social ™ Subscriptions will be a different extension.
James Imani
Well, I think Anahita Social ™ Subscriptions allows the User to register as free-member or paid-member, right?
Would be nice if this extension will available as social apps distributed via Anahitapolis.com, too.
About the Gantry-Framework: Its a question of taste but I think you will have it easier if you work with T3. Its fast, much organized and well structered.
A bad aspect is their little bugs, which sometimes stopped me from developing.
But I think for a developer like you there is no problem with which Framework he is going to work. Its all easy-thing for you I think.

"Would be nice if this extension will available as social apps distributed via Anahitapolis.com"
Oh it will be! I think many open source developers could use Anahita to setup their support and distribution websites and generate profit from their hard work.

I've never worked with T3 to be honest so I cannot make any comments. Gantry has been developed by RocketTheme.com There is also JMorph which is apparently being rewritten in Nooku. Would love to see what they have accomplished so far.

Commenting: Using only few lines of code you can quickly add commenting to any medium node (photo, topic, album, etc.) for example to add comments to a photo just do: true)) ?>
Is it possible to use this line of code for Joomla's articles?
I put it somewhere in my article and then the commenting-system loads.

We will be building a file sharing social app in the next 3 months which can be modified to a pdf sharing social app. We need it for our own groups and projects. We will make it available to all the paid tribe members.
"(3) private messaging"
There will be private messaging, within the next 3 months, via the story feeds as discussed on this topic:
Will there be a private messaging for Anahita
"(5) payment (membership & digital assets)"
Anahita ™ Subscriptions social app is being developed as we speak. We will be starting to use the first release of it ourselves at the beginning of 2011
"(1) Resume builder"
Nothing we are interested to build at the moment. We might have an employment history social app, because I am going to be using it for Anahitapolis and my other company tazzu.com. I personally don't think recreating the traditional resume model will work well in a social networking environment.
"(4) privacy settings also for private contact details ("who may see which of my data") and finally"
Privacy API does exist right now for somebody who would want to use it for their project. As we revamp the Actor profiles (people, groups, etc.) we will make more use of the privacy API but it will be nothing fine grained out of the box, while we still leave the option for people who would want a fine-grained privacy.
Too much privacy could lead to Anti-Social networking which will slow down the growth of a social network to begin with. It will also really slow down the system. Not every project requires that level of privacy so we won't be delivering it as a default setting with Anahita.
The general policy that we have is that we build features and social apps based on the immediate needs that come up for Anahitapolis and the Anahita project. We only plan 2-4 weeks at a time. We do have a vision for the future, but it would be impossible to nail down every goal and milestone any time further than 4 weeks. The reason we focus on Anahitapolis needs first is because we already have an environment to constantly experiment and improve the design while keeping the design minimal.

"(2) document (i.e. PDF) sharing"
Sounds good. Plesse consider the FlexPaper document viewer (Open Source) for viewing PDF documents online. I think, that this would fit perfectly to Anahita.
"(4) privacy settings also for private contact details ("who may see which of my data") and finally"
This would be an important issue for sharing premium content/documents. -> C grants access to document X only for A and B and/or for his followers.
In a network with senior professionals it might be usefull to offer the option for these users to opt-out for seeing their contact details (like email, phone etc.) or to share this data only to dedicated people.
"(1) Resume builder"
Yes, this is what I meant. Add education history and it would be perfect :)

I'll look into the FlexPaper document viewer, especially that it is open source. Thank you!
@Bernd "This would be an important issue for sharing premium content/documents"
I agree
@Bernd "Add education history and it would be perfect :)"
makes a good addition to Anahita ™ CV
@Bernd "By the way, which payment gateway will you support? "
As @dale has mentioned (thank you Dale!) Anahita ™ Subscriptions supports paypal for now. We will however add additional payment supports in a plugin fashion. Right now we need to have the first release of Anahita ™ Subscriptions ready for our public beta release.

A user posted a link to a Joomla FlexPaper plugin in the FlexPaper group (http://goo.gl/ANBUb). I think that this could be very helpful for rapid prototyping with respect to the Anahita document module.
